Bob Proctor on the Law of Attraction

June 28, 2008 by · Leave a Comment

Bob Proctor is one of the foremost authorities and most successful teachers of prosperity and the Law of Attraction. As you probably know, he was featured in The Secret, and since become even more popular. I plan on having Bob on a show in the near future. Stay tuned for updates on how that is manifesting. In the meantime, here is an excerpt from his great book You Were Born Rich!

“The Law of Attraction” is the underlying principle which governs the level of your personal prosperity. However, to help you achieve a really solid grasp of this concept, it will be necessary for us to focus briefly on another law; namely, the “Law of Vibration.”

The Law of Vibration accounts for the difference between mind and matter; between the physical and the nonphysical worlds.

According to the Law of Vibration, we postulate that everything vibrates or moves; nothing sits idle. Everything is in a constant state of motion, and therefore, there is no such thing as “inertia”, or a state of rest. From the most ethereal, to the most gross form of matter, everything is in a constant state of vibration.

Moving from the lowest to the highest degree of vibration, we discover there are literally millions upon millions of intervening levels or degrees; from the electron to the universe, everything is in vibratory motion. (Energy is manifested in all the varying degrees of vibration). “Rates of vibration” are called “frequencies,” and the higher the frequency, the more potent the force. Since thought is one of the highest forms of vibration, it is very potent in nature and therefore, it must be understood by all of us.

Divorce Sucks, or Does It?

I recently had the opportunity to meet best-selling author Debbie Ford, who was featured in the new movie The Moses Code. She was speaking in San Diego at a local premier of the movie, to which I had taken a date -a lovely and talented Iranian woman who was an OBGYN. Well , I am no longer dating the Iranian Doctor, but now I realize why the date was “meant to be”.

Debbie has a book, called “Spiritual Divorce: Divorce as a Catalyst for an Extraordinary Life”. Below is a summary. I haven’t read the book, yet, but i am going to very soon, because I like what she has done – written about something that seems to be a major trauma for most of us, and how to turn it around and use it as a springboard to a much better life. That is exactly my intent with my forthcoming book, on how to use financial trauma in the same way, as a springboard to bigger and better things. It’s especially relevant because frequently divorce is one of the major reasons for people experiencing financial trauma. So, good job Debbie on the book, and I look forward to having you on the show soon!

Debbie Ford's Divorce Book

Spiritual Divorce: Divorce as a Catalyst for an Extraordinary Life

Could the end of your marriage be the first step toward reclaiming your personal power and joyfully living the life of your dreams? If the answer is yes, this book is for you. Divorce rocks the very foundation of our beings, leaving us feeling lonely, flawed, enraged, undesirable, hopeless, and empty. In Spiritual Divorce, New York Times bestselling author Debbie Ford reveals how this devastation can be transformed into a profoundly enlightening experience. This empowering guide shows how the collapse of a marriage is, at root, a spiritual wake-up call, an opportunity to liberate ourselves and reclaim our lives. The end of a relationship—no matter who ends it—is a damaging moment. Ford offers a clear program for turning ruin into renewal.

Deepak Chopra on Relationships (and Obama)

“Whatever relationships you have attracted in your life at this moment, are precisely the ones you need in your life at this moment. There is a hidden meaning behind all events, and this hidden meaning is serving your own evolution.” – Deepak

Deepak Chopra is a very well known author, speaker, and medical doctor who I hope one day soon to interview for a Prosperity Radio podcast. This man defines “holistic” health – and because he is an M.D., he has great authority and credibility among people on how to experience health through a balanced mind/body connection. This guy is the embodiment of prosperity in every way, as far as I can tell.

Deepak recently wrote a book called Why is God Laughing? The Path to Joy and Optimism. That a medical doctor can, through teaching holistic health and spiritual well-being, become essentually a religious guru is fascinating, but also points out how most people need someone in a position of authority to teach them, because apparently all of the mystics out there with a similar message just don’t have enough credibility. I love Deepak, and think he is doing a very good thing for humanity, and that is why i want him on the show.

Interestingly, he also co-authored an open letter to the main Presidential candidates, and Barack Obama wrote a very good reply to the 6 tough questions that were posed. Read the letter, and Barack’s response here: http://www.chopra.com/openletter

Who is Abraham?

June 28, 2008 by · Leave a Comment

The first time I ever heard the term “the Law of Attraction” is when my mother sent me the book by that title, by Abraham-Hicks. As it turns out, the book is the teachings of Abraham, which is a collection of beings that speak as a unified voice through Esther Hicks. “They” like to be called Abraham because they are here to teach. But the cool thing about Abraham’s teachings is that, according to Abraham, we agreed to come into physical form while they agreed to stay on the other side and teach us. So while most people think of Abraham as “masters”, the truth is that we are all masters, who are just so caught up in the drama of life that we fail to think of ourselves as such.

Appreciate the work that Esther and Jerry Hicks have done to bring the teachings of Abraham to the general public, and their message is catching on like wildfire. It is safe to say that this site wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for their tireless efforts. So.. thank you Esther and Jerry!
